Okay, I've now been F5-ing /jp/ for ... a little over 12 hours straight, plus I was on for about 10 hours yesterday. The rise-and-fall is apparent. Like, five hours ago this place was gold, and then BOOM 3D-threads multiply like prison aids on the first page and everything degrades until the idiots go to bed. Newfag spring indeed.

"Oh when I look back now
That spring seemed to last forever
And if I had the choice
Ya - I'd always wanna be there
Those were the best days of my life"

>> No.576671

definite pattern arise when you stay too long around.
Try 24 hours next time, so your observations can be objective and complete.
It's interesting to see how the board mechanics fluctuate by the hour, but it might be too much to call the day shift 'bad'. After all, months ago the early morning shift was lauded for being the home of most of the european anon, with almost no high schoolers around.
Wait a few hours though, you can feel when school is out. It's almost painful, specially in /a/.

>> No.576670

/a/ was never good. Quit complaining about the time of day, idiots.

>> No.576674

If one was particularly bored, one could record the time at which threads were started, the number of replies, the number of sages, and conduct appropriate analysis to determine the effect of the time of day...

Record those numbers in excel

Run some regressions

Where in the rules for /jp/ does it state "2D Only?

You know who says this..? Faggots who are new here.

Maybe you could also make a chart that shows the increase of fail (3D and /n/) from the start of /jp/ until now.

The only reason I hate 3d is that it has a very dangerous sliding effect.

Every time there's more than four threads about morning musume, J-drama, and J-pop on the first page, a thread about how "Japanese girls are so perfect, post some pictures" pops up. I don't dislike them, but it attracts the very worst kind of weeaboos
