I was thinking about making this thread myself, thanks anon.

Playing PARA-SOL. Not a masterpiece by a long shot, but it's decent. Having played the trial and being the OCD-ridden being I am I need to see how it ends.

Finished DEARDROPS, as far as band/music eroge go it was pretty good, but the whole problem-music and friendship solve everything!-new problem-repeat got tiresome after a while. Still, pretty solid, and rock songs with violin parts were a nice novelty.

Sinsemilia or however it's spelled and Gothdeli are getting an awesome score after another on erogamescape, I think I'll probably play them in the future.

Playing Quartett!, liking it a lot, just got a H-scene so I'm probably near the end of my first playthrough.
My backlog is enormous so I'm not waiting for anything new, and I'm undecided as to what my next will be.
The choices I'm looking at are Hoshizora Memoria, Ricotte, Shirotsume souwa, and Gothdeli. But I'll probably be playing through other routes of Quartett before this, so it'll probably be a while at least till I have to choose.

Not really. I could put it off by moving it down the list, but I really liked Romanesque and Quartett, so I want to play it soon; and I have little confidence that the translation will move quickly with the whole editing hell thing the Quartett! translation has.
Still, with a lot of other things fighting right below those 4 for places in my queue, and my slow pace considered especially when term starts again, it could be until next Christmas till I start it, by which there might be some news on the translation effort.

Finally got new parts for my comp after my motherboard blew up. So continued playing Dark Blue and did my first NTR route, goddamit the raaage. Altough I don't know exactly what I should rage about it, about the fact that how the route happened was kinda lame as the protagonist has this weird mental condition which causes him do nothing and just watch as his girl gets raped and thats because he finds it hot. But then again it felt that "mental condition" was something like "anon" forcing his toughs on the MC as his toughs turned dangerously close to something that some spineless "anon" would be, so it kinda made me rage at myself for turning decent protag to loser. yeah, I know that sound kinda stupid, but thats how I felt it. Don't know if I can take the other NTR routes right now, so maybe I'll finish the last non-NTR route in it next.

It's my first attempt at reading a vn in japanese, that isnt a 100% nukige. It seems pretty easy to read, I've been able to make sense of most of the important stuff.

So far it's ok, and Tony Taka's characters are awesome as always.

Started Rance 02 yesterday. Some pretty drawn out obstacles. First you encounter a girl you're supposed to beat, but then she use some magic to wash you out of the room and shuts the door. Then Sills hints that you should find the key to another door, so I assume that I'd need to go through that door first. So I look around for a while, and finally find out there's a badly wounded girl in another room that was previously empty. Then I have to rape her until she tells me what she knows about the labyrinth. Then she tells me that she dropped the key in the water. Then I go look, and after a while, Sill tells me I should get an item that evaporates water so it's easier to find. Then I had back to town and to the shop, only to get told it was sold out to some bartender who came before me. Then I go to the bar and look for the bartender, and he tells me that he dropped it in the food. Then I have to order two meals before I find it in the food, and can finally go back and evaporate the water and hopefully find the key. That's where I'm at right now.

All that shit for one lousy key. Dungeon heroes should really learn lockpicking.

Well yeah, pretty much finished with Dark Blue now. Some NTR routes remain but I'll do those maybe later. Overally it wasn't anything that special, but still iked enough it to read it. Also the H-scenes were hot so that gives some points. But I still can't shake of this feeling that it was released bit unfinished, as there were some stuff that felt it could have explored more and that there would be more to some things but there wasnt, unless those things are in NTR routes but I doubt it. But well yeah, I still enjoyed it even with its faults and ero-scenes were hot, so 8/10 from me to it.

Probably the only person here who is waiting for Kono Uta ga Owattara ~When This Song is Over~. Well right now I have played trough the trial two times + few different bad ends (there is suprising ammount of choices in trial already), and have to say, I'm postively impressed about it already. Orginally it looked like something avarage without any big names being involved, but the trial is suprisingly good/entertaining, I even enjoyed it enough to put pre-order on the game. There were several points that made me like it, like the fact that even tough the main heroine is "pink moeblob" (well personaly it doesnt bother me that much as as I like them) who just can't say it aloud, except she already managed tho say it altough it seemed that it wouldn't happen until late in her route. And overally the characters felt nice altough they weren't anything that special, but good anyway. Then it kinda managed to be actually creepy already in the trial at points, for those who doen't know it supposedly be juvenil horror game. And then there was suprisingly nice BAD ENDs already in the trial. Overally the trial was nice and entertaining read, and I personaly am now definately looking foward to full product very much. Altough it isn't much coming from me, but I have this feeling that it might become hidden gem as I really haven't heard much about it and how much I enjoyed the trial.

tl;dr Kono Uta ga Owattara ~When This Song is Over~ trial was positive suprise for me, and I'd recommend people checking it out. Just don't put too high exceptationsm, and you'll enjoy it.

I don't think there will be. There was nothing indicating in the trial that there would, altough I haven't met all the male characters yet, there still few different hoice paths I will have to do, but generally the mood in it isn't for NTR. And the makers have said that there would not be any, and playing the trial I have to agree. It feels that it focus will be on more on horror side in that there is all kinds of ghostly and unexplained things happening besides the usual bright mood. if there will be something rage inducing then it's the events/bad ends and you questioning why they have to happen.

But play the trial, it should give you decent idea what to except, and it isn't that long. Well I guess I'm of to finish the few different choice paths now that I haven't made yet, and see if there is any different mood changes and bad ends.

Well played pretty much every possible choice paths in KonoUtas trial now, didn't run in any new bad ends tough. Kinda suprising was that there was like 5 H-scenes already in trial and 3 bad ends, altough it only lasted about maybe1-3 hours from start to finish for one playtrough and was 450mb, also it had nice ammount of CGs in it too. Pretty sure that I will really enjoy the final product altough I don't know about people here, self-hype up.

KonoUta and DiveX are right now the two titles that I'm most looking foward to and will play the shit out of when they get released.

Maybe I''ll go and start GothDeri now or play some random nukige, oh the choices.

Update: Just finished this today. Charlotte's route really was very short. In before short jokes. It was great, though I don't agree with those saying it was reams better than later games like Romanesque. I find they're both on a similar level; in fact I would find it rather hard to choose between the two.

Since I didn't play the trial I didn't know it, but damn this thing has the most special effects since ML Alternative that I have seen. And it's kinda entertaining to read. Altough Roo speaking with almost in the full hiragana is pain in the ass to read, and she has this way too pedo aura about her.... Besides that the BGMs are pretty nice as is the art. But GothDeri is linear right, and doesn't seem to be that long if that already open ?scene skip? is for any indication, or is it something else? But yeah this seems pretty good so far. Can't really comment on plot as it has yet to start properly.

Playing Suika these days, almost done, though. Finally managed to unlock Mie's route last saturday night, haven't finished it yet, but it's looking pretty good so far, Mie herself is a pretty nice character, altough I can't help but feeling the whole thing like a bit of an extra, but enjoying it nonetheless.

Overall, one of the best story-focused eroges I've tried, the climaxes to each chapter, except for the third (seriously, what the fuck was that?) were all beautiful and quite dramatic, especially Itsuki's, but my overall favorite chapter was Sayaka's, pure love story from beginning to end, and I just found most of the interactions with her so damn sweet. Ojou's story delivered too, being eager for it before even getting to the actual chapter, for obvious reasons, altough it surprised me having so many choices for a change, but it was a great route anyway, though the last part made me feel like I was playing an extended version of the air ending.

Oh, and the soundstrack, while small, is godly.
