Touhou is on the wane, gentlemen.

Touhou fandom peaked in mid-to-late 00's, and particularly late in the decade for the western fanbase. But it's been slowly declining since UFO. The lack of a real continuation of the series doesn't help matters either.

Touhou 13, when it finally comes out, will obviously be huge, but the community response just won't be the same. The question then becomes, what will take Touhou's place?
