Is it just me, or does the new T's System Cirno release just look wrong?

I'm going by ZUN descriptions and game scenarios. She's described as child-like; she's also a fairy that has gained a little more self-awareness than the average fairy in Gensokyo, so I'd think she would be curious about her surroundings and very outwardly focused (as opposed to behaving more like the animalistic stimulus-response nameless, faceless fairies).

And she doesn't think she's powerful because she's stupid, she thinks she's powerful because compared to the normal fairies she hangs around, she is.

Thing is, Cirno never looks introspective. She always looks like she's either mad or happy...the most she ever really gets to expressing some kind of thought is a Tewi-like smug grin.

She looks like she's deep in thought about something...which doesn't fit her character at all.

Hisoutensoku's sprite...she looks happy. Cirno doesn't look too happy in that figure.
