I've been thinking /jp/.

The picture on the left is of a 3D girl and the one on the right is 2D, correct?

But from this image they both are 2D, as they are shown on a computer screen. The only way we know the left is 3D from this screen is because it is of a human girl, something we know exists and can picture.

But we do not know touhous exist. We cannot picture them and relate the right picture to something 3D. Because of this, we think the right is of a 2D thing.

What if touhous DO exist? Would finding one cause all touhou pictures to be pictured as 3D?

2D/3D doesn't work that way, boof-kun. Technically, all humans see in 2D with an interpretation of depth. We can't actually see 3D, just interpret it by using two vantage points.

It's the same way that we can only define "time" and "space" in relative terms. We can never experience time, just note changes that prove the state of the universe changes.

Let me tell you this. Touhous don't exist on this planet. Past Pluto exists a large object several time larger than Jupiter. Every now and then the planet sends out a star craft capable of light speed travel. They come to Earth in search of one thing. Males. That's right, that planet is populated only by female species. Every now and then they abduct males all around the world in hopes that they will keep their race from being extinguished. Zun is one of the many to be abducted for this. Zun had his memory wiped so that he wouldn't tell stories of this marvelous planet. But they didn't exactly wipe all his memory. He is able to recall what they look like so we now know what these creatures of Gensokyo look like. One day when that time comes, maybe you will be abducted by Touhous to be brought to their wonderful civilized planet to mate.
