The venue you choose for the last concert determines what ending you get and affects your final percent score. The bigger the venue, the more difficult the last concert will be (the gauge starts less full)

To get the best ending, you have to get to rank A, choose the biggest venue (the Dome), and succeed at the final concert.

I see, so if I make only rank B I can still do the hardest dome and get a different ending than if I had reached rank A. Good to know. I'm going through without reloading constantly and failing auditions from time to time really hurts your final score.
