Excellent. Time for the rematch of that crushing Medicine vs. Youmu defeat.

>> No.5634294

Huh, did the connection drop? GG, I noticed that you haven't used focus, it helps a lot getting past all those bullets.

Good games. Got tired, playing without the Z button is hard. Finally got my no-focus act together.

>> No.5634903

Good Games. Fun matches, especially the very first one between Reisen and Cirno was intense. Spellcard attacks every few seconds and danmaku flying everywhere.

Awesome games. Haven't had that much fun in a PoFV thread in a long time.

Will rehost in ~30 minutes.

GGs. Sorry for not putting up a fight. I also forgot what the random select key was at the beginning, and didn't mean to purposefully pick Cirno as a counter. Hope we get to see each other again.

GGs. You must show me this internal keyboard that you were using.

>> No.5639387

>>5639220
Huh, I thought escape would exit the whole thing. Sorry to cut it short, and I picked a great time to go through these input devices. The one I actually want is the laptop keyboard which has great control, but the game doesn't like to recognize when I've let go of the shot key no matter what I assign it to.

I'll be up for another in about 15 minutes if you're not already finished or engaged in another match by then.

Try alt-F4 for that.

I have stuff I need to do so I should probably call it quits for today. Maybe someone else will start hosting if you're lucky.

You might consider running the game in single player mode to see how it works out before you host again.

Just out of curiosity, how long are the average /jp/ matches?

Everything is usually fine to begin with, except now I can no longer choose the latency. Returning to the old controls for now. And I don't know what just happened there. I'll bother someone else for testing between now and the next thread.

>>5639558
Individual rounds are maybe 1.5 to 3 minutes.

>> No.5639596

>>5639558
From my experience, matches will almost always last between 1 minute and 3 minutes, 2 minutes being the most common for a 'good' match. Less than 1 minute usually just means someone desynced or had a keyboard fuckup. 2 minutes is usually how long it takes for the game to become nearly unmanagable for both parties, so surviving to 3 minutes usually means both parties are playing defensively, or are just really damn good.
