Thinks it is, but fails miserably

Deepest game ever made is League of Legends.

>> No.5627825

Chess can be deep, but not when you're playing with anyone on /jp/. Except me, of course.

You just aren't playing it right. Imagine both your pieces and your oppenent's ones as girls. When you say, take a rook with your pawn, think it as the short, flat-chested pawn stripping the shy rook of her armor (preferably while teasing her about how the pawn's undeveloped body is clearly arousing her), dominating, and raping her, causing the rook to run off from the board crying about how she'll never be a bride now.

Another fucking Umineko thread?

Going by the hands, I'd believe that OP's screenshot is from Code Geass.

I thought about making a chess thread here before. It's been done on a few other boards and most people there liked it even though it was (in some cases) unrelated to the board. I never actually did it because I realize /jp/ may react differently to it, though.

I played a game of chess against Mystia (some tripfriend) on /jp/ before. Made a mistake in the opening and lost early. Would have liked to play him again.

Not the western chess at least. With large majority of the games lasting less than 100 turns and there usually being less than 30 legal moves available it's probably the least deep chess variant still played. Shogi is probably the deepest chess variant or at least the most complex, since drops add so many new possibilities for each move and the games also last quite a bit longer. It's game tree is approximately between 10^100 and 10^105 times as large as that of western chess.

Go is of course still much much more complex than standard shogi. Of course large board shogi variants like dai shogi can be even more complex than 19x19 go.

Oh, I remember it. Didn't expect to actually get a game done.
