My dad is a soft spoken /tg/ fag who goes out to play tabletop rpgs with a bunch of other 50 year old men every week and can speak Latin as well as like 2 or 3 fictional languages from the in-game world of the rpg he's currently playing.

Yeah my dad's a pretty cool guy. He goes to gaming conventions and stuff, reads a lot of manga as well as American comic books and watches a fair amount of anime too. He said he's not really interested in moe though. I was going to suggest some translated VN to him though, maybe something like Saya no Uta seems like the kind of thing he could get into.

My dad would probably play something like that too. He plays the most obscure shit ever. Back in the day he bought out the local comic book store of Sim City card game booster packs (yes, there was actually a CCG for Sim City believe it or not) despite the fact that nobody in like a 100 mile radius plays the freaking game.
