why the hell you need a car anyways? just stay inside your room.

Why would a NEET need a car?

I don't even have a driver's license.

I told my parents I didn't want or need a car. They bought me one anyway and they make my payments and pay my tickets.

I keep telling them that I'd prefer if I didn't have a car, but they insist. It makes me feel bad.

But it literally just sits there all day because I prefer to sit here all day.

Since I highly doubt your car can actually bend itself to sit, I think you meant "figuratively".

>> No.5608169

I wish I had a car, just so I could feel that if I wanted to go outside and do something I could.

Knowing that I'm stuck in my room and unable to go anywhere feels pretty shitty.

Why the shit would I go to the park?

I'm talking about places like Best Buy, or the grocery store. Carrying around bags of groceries on the bus is embarrassing as hell.

>>5608179

Sit means to stay in a single, standing position as well as in a relaxed position on one's haunches.

The former generally for things lacking said haunches.

>> No.5608322

Most of /jp/ is underage and gets driven around by their parents whenever they need to go anywhere. Of course we don't need cars.

Where my HS bros at?

>> No.5608368

I'm considering taking a drivers test to get my license, but I bet I'd just screw something up and be embarrassed. Is it difficult? I've been putting it off for a long time but it kinda pisses my parents off.

NEET isn't a mental disease like hikikomori or autism. It just means that you're "Not in Employment, Education or Training". I'd say half of /jp/ are NEETs.

Also there aren't any floorshitters, that's just an inside joke. Right guys?

Seriously it's like an even 30% of everyone aged between 18-23. It doesn't get much more normal than that.

You could do it in your sleep if you've ever driven a car ever.
Seriously, just stay within the lines and stop at red lights, it's not hard!
I've even heard that in some places they have special courses set up for driving exams instead of just driving around the downtown, which makes it even easier.

People like >>5608613 only have problems because of some severe social anxiety that won't let them perform under pressure.

I did it and it wasn't that hard, but I'd been practicing with my dad for about a year (who is a good teacher and calm compared to most parents).

My driving test was easy, it was mostly in a residential neighborhood. I only lost points because I was too cautious at all-way stops. Although watch out if your state has a parallel parking test, that can take some practice.

No it isn't. Everyone does that.
You can also put your stuff into something else for transport.

>> No.5609050

Being a car-less non-NEET is worse. Walking to campus and taking the bus to work sucks.
