What is this?

/jp/ has begun to finish a project to translate the visual novel Hatsukoi, one of the highest rated according to the Japanese.

Are you in need of translators?

Definitely. You don't even need to know Japanese to help improve the English text, so your participation is encouraged.

You're always welcome to point out problems, just fix them. The #1 problem I see is people list problems and refuse to fix them, they simply list problems then laugh and go away. I see that as nothing more or less than trolling. I don't even know if what they say is true since they refuse to offer a solution.

I've noted the translation inconsistency problems at least half a dozen times and they're still not fixed.

Where? I haven't looked at the translation since January. Are you talking about the opening lines of each route being different? Tell us which one is the correct translation so it can be fixed. Not telling us which line is correct? Then you're not doing anything but pointing out the problem without fixing it, ie. doing nothing which goes right back to my post.

Guess what's impossible to do without knowing Japanese, hence why a translator needs to look at and fix them before an editor can do shit, which as you've just demonstrated goes right to "U TROLL U TROLL U TROLL U TROLL."

Consistency, dipshit. It's not a hard concept. When identical conversations are translated completely differently, it stands out. You don't even need to know English to see that there's a problem.
