NEETs and Hikikomori of /jp/, tell me about yourselves.
Why are you whatever you are, how do you sustain your lifestyle, and are you happy with your life right now?

Picture related, it's a Hikikomori.

Because I'm ugly.
I'm also full of money.
Very much so.

You won't believe me, but I don't mind. I used to be a pretty alpha. Dated all the time, never had a problem getting tail, lots of friends, life of the party, etc. I took a job working the graveyard shift though, so I couldn't go out anymore. My days off weren't the same as my friends. They were calling me when I was at work. If I wasn't at work, I was sleeping and they'd call and wake me up. Eventually everyone quit calling. I had to have emergency surgery and I became pretty morose as I was now aware of my mortality on a fundamental level different than "you're going to die." so the few friends I kept dropped away, got married, or moved out of state. I moved out of state, kept working graves. I literally have not seen the sun more than maybe a dozen times since ... august of 2005. Anyway, no friends, working different hours than the world keeps, I lost contact with the world. I had a horrifying experience with a psychotic girl (yanderes in real life are not fun) and because of that I couldn't work. My boss was pretty cool, so I started working from home via VPN. There you have it.
