This place is so shitty I can't help making off-topic threads to keep myself entertained. And the worst thing is, usually they get more replies and attention than in-topic threads.
Is it just me or anyone else feels the same way?

If you want my honest feelings I actually like the offtopic discussions that pop up more than the on-topic ones. We've already discussed every aspect of every TM girl and every Touhou, and every on topic thread is just bickering about my tastes > your tastes anyway. With the offtopic threads people actually speak their mind and post interesting stories and perspectives. It's actually like talking with real human beings instead of just robots who repeat memes. Even though I love all the topics of this board, the real reason is come here is for the users, not actual "otaku culture" content. /jp/ has some of the more mature posters on 4chan, although thats not saying much. At least it used to, I can't really tell anymore because all anyone does now is bitch about stuff most of the time.
