I don't understand why you guys keep coming back to /jp/.

There's no denying that this board has the shittiest threads and we get invaded by retards every hour. I'm not even sure if their invasions or /jp/ just being /jp/ anymore. This board is horrible.

/jp/ is one of the best boards on 4chan.

1.We have mods/janitors who actually do their job.

2.We have more video games than /v/.

3.Better taste in anime than /a/

4.We condense our threads. Touhou stays with Touhou. Idols stay in idol threads. So on and so forth.

5.We have the least amount of annoying tripfags.

6.We have the least amount of retarded normalfags.

1) That janitor actually does something, as oppose to boards like /v/ where random /b/ threads are everywhere.

2) Touhou game discussions, flavour of the month, AT and random game threads amount for more than the games thread on /v/.

3) Yes many of us came from /a/, but look at the current /a/. Bleach, naruto, generic fanservice show no.1255223 etc that /jp/ does not discuss or like.

5) Disregarding summer tripfags, the regular tripfags on /jp/ discuss topics without using memes and talking like an idiot. Hong Meiling and RemiJAM also contribute to the board.

3. Every kind of anime gets discussed there. Some more, some less, plus much trolling, not unlike here. What prevails is what is currently aired, so not really their fault to an extent. I like /jp/ because even though it's really shitty from time to time we still have a tight community. I feel at home here, like a part of the gang. No other board on 4chan makes me feel like that. We have a bunch of social codes that take some time to pick up, but once you do and learn how to act it's easy to talk to everyone even if we don't always get along. Most tripfags are pretty chill, and the /jp/anons can be both funny and helpful when they want to.

Actually, the idea of a Touhou-only board on 4chan is well... not so good.

Imagine what /jp/ is today, and replace idolfags, VN-threads and misc-game threads with either nothing, more trolls or more meta-threads. That place would be even more dead than /jp/. It would be poosh, but on 4chan so everyone would raid it all the time and there'd be no mods. I admit it would be nice to have a Touhou imageboard other than poosh, but as of today that sort of community doesn't exist on 4chan. I'd love to be proven wrong, though.
