How many of you support yourselves while living as a NEET/hikki/life of solitude? Is it at all possible?

Teach me all your secrets to taking it easy, /jp/!

There are a million ways to make money online. I write editorials in a local news paper every so often about world affairs, like war and politics, and I get paid a little bit for the writing. I had an essay once in a newsmagazine that was bought for 800 dollars. You can also get money from ads, and buying/selling stuff. When I was young I was into piracy, demoscene and some hacking and you can make money this way if you know how. Use your imagination.

Combine this with unemployment money from government, welfare, or disability, and it's enough to live.

If that's really true you should do something with it, like start a business or invest in a startup or something. It'd be a crime to let that much money just sit in a bank, probably to get dispersed to the state when you die (since you won't have any kids, lol)

My grandfather had the 3 million split into several different money market accounts/bank accounts/investments for me. Also some of it is already prepared into fixed income set ups.

I get about $50,000 a year, and that is more than enough for me, since I only use about $35,000ish.

Not a NEET since I go to university (FSU), but I'm probably a hikki since I never go to class unless there's an exam, and I certainly don't talk to anyone either in class or during my free time. I haven't talked to a single person in 6 months or so, but I'm in my senior year and my lack of motivation to do anything is crashing down since I'm expected to either get a job or go to grad school. I don't even have a car yet.

It sucks, living off FAFSA and various other scholarships was fun while it lasted.

Not him but rice is ass-cheap and mixes well with whatever you have in the pantry. I personally buy jasmine rice-it's cheap, not too sticky, and hella good. Tastes good with pretty much anything.

Water and milk will do you plenty good, though I buy tea on occasion.

Haha, this guy. Better turn it around and get an internship in the next few months while you still can, or it's all over.

You'll end up like me and many other people on this board. Graduated, in debt, no experience and no hope of being hired.

You seriously have to take advantage of employment opportunities when you are in college, if you don't then everyone will know that you just fucked off all day during college and they won't even consider hiring you when you're out.
