Hey /jp/, if I want to make a small visual novel, what should I use?
Ren'Py looks good, but I figured you guys would know more than I do.
Pic related, it was pretty much my inspiration.

RenPy
practically any real programming language
Honestly with modern javascript you could write a VN for web interface just with PHP and js

bash

RenPy is easy as fuck.

Alright, so I'll stick with RenPy.
How do I export my VN?
The game folder is there but there's no executable.

"build distributions"

Ah, thank you.

machine code

There's really only two choices: Ren'Py and ONScripter. Ren'Py's scripting is probably easier to learn and more intuitive, but hopefully you customize the interface's appearance so that it doesn't look like garbage.

I think Renpy's default interface has a nice Powerpoint/The Sims look to it.
