If you think about it, Berserker sucks. In FHA even Lancer manages to completely kill him with his rune magic and in FSN even Assassin, who has limited mana and no noble phantasm, manages to drive him away from the temple.

Gilgamesh is mostly a special case.

Berserker lost lives fighting againt most of the other Servants in a row and only to lose later, and fought more than the others.
If you exclude Saber and Archer none of them can't even kill him, and the odds are clearily stacked against Archer.

He shouldn't be able to do anything at all.
First off he shouldn't be able to be a threat to berserker at alls o Berserker should have been able to walk right past/over/through him without any fuss, and no matter how good his techniques are he shouldn't be able to parry blows of such strength and if anything his brittle Japanese sword should have been bent.

For Lancer I had read somewhere that he supercharged Gae Bold with his rune magic so it took all of Berserker's lives out in one hit. The whole "removing multiple lives with one hit" thing is stupid though and makes his power quuite weak.

And I agree that Assassin shouldn't have even been a speedbump to Berserker but in F/SN it's said that he drove Berserker off.

Chu Chulain and Gil are both hax servants. Saber as a class is the strongest. Don't forget they get obscene magic resistance as well as the Ride skill. (And Arthuria with Avalon is unstoppable.)

Because besides very strong stats, the fact by contract she have a shoot at the Grail no matter what and more important, she remembers every single Grail War unlike other servants that are just copies of the Heroic Spirits that will not pass on their memory when they are killed.

Looking at it wrong, Ilya is the container prepared by the Einzbern so if she dies ... end of Grail War as you cannot summon the Grail without her.

The Einzbern always attempt to cheat, Bezerker was simply Ilya bodyguard as for the grail to even show up she had to be the last one standing and she only needed to stay put, that she does outside Fate route but in that route she had reasons to act as she did.

The reason Einzbern plan does not work is that you have 2 Archers so you dont need for Ilya to be the last one standing, in fact you only need to beat Bezerker but only someone that knew about the Grail War inner workings could knew how to beat the system and how the Einzbern were cheating again.

Also in HF you see there are TWO grail containers, again showing how to beat the system.

Saber does not have Magic either, if you are talking about "Magic" in the sense of spellcasting only Caster have it.

Also he have God Hand, meaning any attack not exceeding Rank B is totally negated, if it does exceed it have automatic resurrection up to 11 times.

So who can kill him with magic attacks? only Caster as none of the other servants seem to be mages.

Oh and Rin did killed him but Rin stored energy into objects and Rin itself is incredible strong mage and still how many lives did she take from him? not enough to kill him for good.

Sure magical effects are a different matter but what are you going to do?

Granted in a war were Mages are involved it seems a oversight but its really not, even Bazett used Fragarach that had the issue it could only be used at full potential when the enemy uses his most powerful attacks and she can only create 10 of those per year.

Ilya is also a mage and a powerful one at that so any advantage a mage could have is more that likely negated by Ilya own abilities.
