Hey, I remember my computer's main board literally "exploded" one day, and I had to be a month without internet/computer. It was in the middle of a summer and I was addicted to this too.

But instead of crying like a crazy bitch, I decided to overcome the addiction, and I did it. I went out more often, I did things that I usually don't do (read, draw, play videogames in a videoconsole...). Also, some days (on weekend) I went to a cyber to check some important things.

That's true, I'm not going to deny my own responsibility. It is possible to overcome addictions if you try and I've done it with a certain other thing. Part of it is I don't really want to, I like 4chan a lot. It is really fun and fast-paced. It's just sometimes at the end of the night I say, "Fuck, I wish I had spent more time focused on X or Y instead of popping back over to /jp/ every 30 minutes".

there's some extensions for firefox and chrome that lets you put sites into blacklists - you are forbidden to browse the site altogether, or you can make it so that you can browse only at certain hours or for a total of certain hours.
They also require you to use a long-ass code when editing the information (up to one-two minutes of inputting), so you won't be tempted to edit the settings when you're bored.
I suggest you look it up, I use Chrome nanny and it's been grand.
