That shit was hard. The ball's velocity and shit were wierd. It would random increase/decrase in speed as it fell or rose. Almost impossible to time that shit unless you learned the game's wierd physics.

I stopped playing Touhou Labyrinth after beating the 20F boss and before moving on to the plus disk levels... beat most of the ver.2 bosses but then found myself needing to grind even more to beat the hardest ones (or to get the last couple rare drops from 20F that I STILL hadn't gotten after all the grinding I did before the boss)

Played it a long time ago (long before I played Sengoku Rance), it bugs me that I'm still missing two CGs and two music tracks, but didn't really want to bother playing it again without a translation.
