So /jp/, whats your bed like?

How do you sleep in it?

>> No.5398712

It's an old metal spring. Hard and uncomfortable

I have two pillows. One's a feather one that's quite nice, the other is a thin one stuffed with some kind of plastic stuffing.

As for blankets, I have a light thin blanket I use with a thick duvet on top. Since it's summer I tend to sleep on the duvet and just use the light blanket for comfort purposes.

>> No.5398718

I sleep on my stomach with my legs bent back so my heels touch my shoulders. My mattress is also made of hot coal.

>> No.5398731

I have a twin bed, a normal pillow, a body pillow, and a blanket.

I lay in bed and sleep with the body pillow supporting my back or hugged or whatever I feel like.

Should probably get a dakimakura cover.

>> No.5398736

A nest of green and blue plaid flannel. At least three pillows at any given time, down comforter.

>> No.5398740

I sleep straight on my mattress cause it was getting to be a pain with how it kept coming off. I also have like seven pillows, of varying quality. I am now headed that way.

>> No.5398747

Queen size bed, 5 pillows, 2 blankets, and a Konata-chan plushy doll.
I sleep with no pantsu and tend to sleep on either side depending which is more comfortable.

>> No.5398756

Twin bed, 5 pillows, and the same blanket that I've had since I was a toddler. Sleep on my stomach.

>> No.5398758

A twin bed with two pillows. One for my head and the other for hugging because it feels nice and cold.

I sleep the same way I stand: One knee bent with my arms crossed.

>> No.5398781

memory foam mattress and pillow on top of another mattress, plain old sheets, plain old comforter, and one of those really nice, soft, and heavy blankets, I forget what they're called. all on top of a handmade bedframe I built.

I live in a two bedroom unit by myself so I have a bedroom and commons area. But I usually sleep in the commons sofa unless in winter. It is because I am insecure and want a solid soft thing on my back and side.

>> No.5398849

Crappy futon bed with a quilt on top. I use a light comforter if its cold, but since its summer I don't use it all the time. I don't use pillows and I can't get to sleep on my stomach. I'll usually fall asleep on my side, but sometimes on my back.

dammit, from the thumbnail i thought it was jun watarase. disappointed.

>> No.5398875

I tuck my blankets around and under me tightly, making something like a straight jacket.

>> No.5398918

I sleep on a couch futon thing. Dunno what it's actually called, but it's fairly comfy, though it probably needs to be flipped over.

>> No.5398914

I have a little fold-able foam mattress, about 30 inches wide so I can't move much, but I've gotten so used to it over the years that when I slept on a big bed I didn't move my spot at all when I tossed and turned. That's why I took the big bed out of my room and went back to my little mattress on the floor since I didn't use the extra space on the bed.

I usually keep it in my closet, then when I need to sleep I lay it on the floor and put my covers/blankets, etc. I always sleep on my sides because I can never fall asleep on my back. I don't like sleeping on my stomach because my feet bend in awkward positions and I wake up with a sore neck the rest of the day.

>> No.5398935

It's my dads old bed(I think)
I pissed in it when I was little, while I was sleeping with him
It's hella comfortable though
One pillow
3 sheets

It's just a normal bed with two pillows.

Also I can only fall asleep if I'm lying on my side (and I fall asleep the fastest on my left side). I believe this is some left over mental thing from back when I was a little kid: I used to think that vampires would only bite the left side of the neck. So if I slept on my left side, then no vampires would come during the night and bite me.

Also for some reason I get instant nightmares if I fall asleep on my back, but I think it's like that for a lot of people.

If i remember correctly, I read something about how sleeping on your back can help you have lucid dreams.

>> No.5398990

Depends on where I am. At home, I have a somewhat new metal spring mattress (queen size bed), 2 pillows (one Tempur-pedic, the other a knockoff memory foam that's hard as a rock), sheets and a comforter, and flannel sheets. Currently, the room I'm staying at in Japan has a western-style bed with one comforter and a pretty thick pillow. At my regular college dorms, I bring the Tempur-pedic pillow and I use knit down sheets that are really soft and a normal comforter.

Depends on my state of mind when I go to sleep. Most times I sleep on my side or stomach, but have a tendency to sleep on my back with my hands holding the headboard if my delusions of Bernrape are in full effect that night.

>> No.5398993

An old ass couch with one light blanket and another relatively heavy one that my mom made for me years ago, and a pillow.

I tend to sleep on my side facing to the left, I guess because I like facing the side of the couch.

>> No.5399001

Normal bed with a nice comfortable mattress. I lie on either side with a pillow tucked between my legs and place my arm under another pillow which my head rests on. I occasionally lie face down with the covers off if my room is stupidly warm.

>Also for some reason I get instant nightmares if I fall asleep on my back, but I think it's like that for a lot of people.

I don't even dream, regardless of how I sleep. I just seem to fall asleep then wake up the next morning with no recollection of anything in between.

>> No.5399039

I tend to remember at least a couple of my dreams every night. It just happens that they're all really boring and hazy. I imagine my poor mental and physical health probably contribute to that, unless everyone has dreams this shitty.

I've tried keeping a dream journal a few times in an attempt to induce lucid dreams. I gave up shortly every time because my dreams are just that uninteresting.

I was doing that too, but becoming lucid while already dreaming usually wakes me up soon after.

Lately I've been doing the wake-initiated method with afternoon naps. Much more effective, but Jesus fuck, the first time the sleep paralysis kicked in I got really freaked out. Pretty used to it now.
