/jp/, I'm completely out of the loop, what's the oil spill thing I've been hearing about? I've been bedridden from depression the past few weeks, what happened?

>> No.5388843

It doesn't concern us, go ask /int/.

Nothing interesting.

Worst ecological disaster in history
The entire Atlantic coast will be covered in toxic goo
You're better off not reading any more about it

Americans can't drive boats or something, and they pollute and shit.

1. Kill and eat whales.
2. Poop oil in oceans.
3. Run over turtles with my car.

Feels good to be human and top of the food chain.

They bought the rig from Haliburton, and in fact Haliburton was the contractor for all workers and were the ones that fucked the safety regulations.

Dick Cheney owns Haliburton

Udonge with Arin's magic powers?
So delicious~

Even though that would be awesome if it were true, and would simplify this complicated disaster into a simple good/evil thing for the uneducated masses to lap up, that's just wrong. Cheney doesn't own Haliburton. He is a stockholder. He owns some shares of it. That's all. Sorry to burst your bubble, I wish it could all be attributed to the guy too.

Undongay with a P-90? She's a White House security guard! She's carrying the same weapons and is wearing a dark colored suit!

BP owned the rigs for years. If they'd been doing proper safety inspections, there shouldn't have been a problem, regardless of who owned the rigs before them. If they were getting old, or parts and systems were wearing out, then they should have shut down a rig for a refit.

>> No.5388970

It's all just a bunch of circular finger-pointing and dead birds anyway.

Of course.
The dead birds.
The oil.
Chickens are birds.
Fried chicken is oily.
Why didn't we put the pieces together sooner?

BP owned oil rig exploded
BP took several weeks to give it a band-aid solution for the fix
Something in the hundred of thousands of barrels of oil or more leaked into the Gulf of Mexico
Worst ecological disaster in US history
BP thinks it's a minor oil spill

Recent reports say a trail of emails prove that BP was negligent in its duty to insure the safety of the rig.

They're going to get raped in every hole at court for the next ten years.

Apparently they were behind schedule by a whole lot, so they went "FUCK SAFETY, WE'RE GETTING THIS THING DONE."

Pretty sure Halliburton actually made suggestions that would have improved the safety of the rig, but BP didn't take them.

Japan should get to drawing a futanari BP-tan covering a pelican girl completely with her oil-cum.
