Rokkenjima disaster needed to happen for some catastrophe to be avoided. If Battler saves his family, he'll wreck both the world he does it on, and the witch side.

Meta-Battler accepts this, kills his family as humanely as possible and becomes a bitter husk of a magician.

Lambdadelta has been pretty upfront about her goals, mainly she wants to keep the game going forever.

Therefore, to get an ending of any kind, she'll have to be dealt with. Episode 5 and 6 she was Lambrodelta for a reason, Battler falling into delusions(apparently) and marrying Beato instead of ending the game fits into her plan perfectly.

Seriously Lambdadelta is not to be trusted, and Featherine, that mary-sue of a god, is going to get blind sided by her in episode 7.

That ending just SUCKS.

Like, I'd be fine with Beatrice dying and Battler saving most of his family, or hell, ending up with Ange, but him just becoming a failure hobo that will become an apathetic dick is the WORST thing to possibly happen.

I like the idea of a hobo end because it spares Ryukishi from having to write romance while making things shipperfaggy, or because it's just a change from the previous episodes. The series has already become a total clusterfuck, so why not add more to it?

I like the idea of Battler ditching the meta-world better than him fucking up his family. I'd rather see something contrived and sad where Piece-Battler somehow remembers meta stuff or where he DOESN'T remember, and as Beato dies and the metaworld crumbles she sees him happily being ignorant as usual, hitting on Jessica and not even hinting that he was totally in love with a witch. Ryukishi's sad-mode writing is better than his romantic scenes.

I'd be fine with George getting Shannon and Battler and Jessica being confirmed for RONERY end. I just want the good guys to survive, I hate the idea of the good people on the island just being DEAD because of Sayo's faggotry. I think even though they are just pieces, they still deserve to live. And the Golden Land is horseshit.

Demons did it. She didn't want to kill Kyrie, so the demons possessed her and forced her hand.

Meanwhile Kanon kills Rosa, George kills his OWN MOTHER, and Shannon kills MARIA AND SAKUTAROU all without any qualms.

She's the only one who gave a shit, really. Even Battler killed, but that was because he had to.
