Some dismiss lolibots, others swear they're the best. What are your thoughts and opinions? What about the less talked about bots, such as LazFlamme and Maril March? Good or bad?

I have around 450 HP stacked on my Maril. Shit does not die. I've actually ran out of ammo twice so far. The core weapon's range and lock-on capacity is insane, half the time I'm just spamming that. Bazookas don't seem to be working out for me so I was considering trying rifles or burners. On the topic of burners I was wondering which was better, the small one with more ammo and less cost or the medium one with more firepower? I heard the firepower was what determined if shit burned or not and that's all I want from the weapon really.

And is the game filled with painful lag for anyone else today?

I use two toyboxes and one lily rain, and I usually get top 1-5 in arenas. I usually run out of ammo before I die, too.

It's because newbies don't know how to shoot and dodge. I love fucking up toyboxes and big ass mechs with my lolibots, especially because some people claim they're shit. Small package, good movement, decent firepower.

Burner is good on Maril. I DON'T know the difference but I have the small one. Depends on your load out but I would suggest the bigger one. I use the small one every game without running out of ammo. Also It's awesome against them fast melee players.

Anyone got a whole red screamer(or maybe squealer, I can't remember)?

I got a body and an arm, the body has a 10 bullet turbo system which deals no damage but works like a really long range dash, and the arm has a 31 force in built punch. The bad part is that you cant use the punch if you equip a weapon in that hand like you can with the hound dog, but I put the hound dog arm as my other one so I can combo the meele hits while using a flamethrower. Because of a lack of range weapons I put that head with a 370 range attack on it. Still testing it out, seems better than my regular hound dog, though being able to equp just 1 gun kind of sucks.

I don't know if it's the lag, but when I use the burner on melee, the burning effect doesn't seem to bother those fast melee at all. Or maybe they aren't forced to run while they're spamming melee attacks? I don't know.

Right now I use two handy bazookas, 40 cost on each is really nice. I have an ancient bazooka around but it's on my lily at the moment. Don't think I could afford to dual these anyway.

My main concern is my core weapon is just too good at long range sniping so my bazookas only see use when something's getting closer to me, needless to say it doesn't scare land types away very well. I need either a weapon with more range, to be used in tandem with my core weapon or something to scare away land users.

I don't know about LND users, but I know that Rocket Launchers have a homing effect, they're perfect for flying assholes. They also home in on LND users, but it's harder because there's too much shit on the ground that can block your shots.

Elme S. I mainly use her. Support robot, very low initial cost (65) but low limit too (280), I had to give her 5 capacity increases to get good use.

Just checked it out in the shop, looks very nice. More range than bazookas and homing would actually make it worth using at long distances. The cost I'll have to work around but this doesn't lower my WLK or FLY like handy bazooka does so I'm sure I can cut some corners to fit these in and keep my stats.

I just noticed that Grenade has 330 range and says it can burn enemies on impact. It also says it has a "mountain shaped projectile line". Is this some kind of splash weapon that lingers on after it hits the ground or something? Did anybody try this? I ran into some artillery users that had huge lingering blast radiuses on their shots, is this what causes it or is it another weapon?

Does weapon range affect lock-on range?

This has been bothering me lately because I've noticed some weapons can damage the enemy beyond lock-on range. However, I am more interested in increasing the lock-on range for the sake of my rocket launcher and box missiles.

I use a Paralyzer and Beam Rifle on my Crimrose, and can definitely lock on at a greater distance with the beam rifle (which has much longer range). There's not much I figured about lock on mechanics other than that.

Yes. There's a tune up for that, and I think Core Breakers can do it too (give that range upgrades, find one of those stationary missile-happy large artillery faggots, laugh as you break his hands from beyond his sight range as an air unit. )

Can you change the color of the crosshair? I can't see where I am aiming half the time before the red lock on shows up just fine but my shitty light blue crosshair is tiny and see through.

Seriously I hate the garapon I've rolled near 50 times by now and still no lily, well Botglue clan leader gifted me one, and I love it, I made it into some kind of loli sniper bot, 350~380 range is godly as everyone charges fowards into the battlefield I stay well out of range and spam all my weapons.

My main is Support though, on good days I've been ranked 1st through 10th in a 30vs30 match. On bad days I get picked off 3mins into a round and spend the rest of the time picking off enemies with my lily. Many people fly up to me only to get smacked in the face with a full burst dealing over 40~70 damage and then turn to run away.

I find myself using my crimrose less and less as there are more and more toyboxes that stay in groups and spam two way homing missles, those things home in from really really far away and don't disappear either, most of the time in some maps you don't even see where they are being fired from.

Which is better for a Crimrose: Plasma gun or Paralyzer? The Paralyzer has 300 more ammo, 18 force, and the stun, but the plasma has 24 force and a faster rate. It might have a high range too.

Any good set ups for the support loli? I went with bazooka and flamethrower.

For my support mech I use an upgraded Accelerated Gun. Since it's hard to dodge (especially when you have Sniper Sight and a few Toyboxes are always around) you charge up the support gauge rather fast. Fairly low cost too.

Not much ammo, though.

Lily rain stock parts with full damage decrease cartridges and some easy rifle or something with around 360 range and 14 force? sniper (the one where you lock onto people but it doesn't show) cartrige installed and internal weapons upgrade installed. There is a sniper with 380 range but It's a L rifle and lily can't use it.
I'm usually standing on the outskirts spamming the rolling blades, firing the rifle as the red locks lights up, when air notices me I give them a full burst, and then start pulling back towards the next group of teammates if the air units continue to follow. When dealing with Jukun's I just fly outta there, they move too fast for rifles to lock on effectively.

I have a dual paralyzers on my crimrose, I'll spend time finding wonder drugs and charging my pillbox or vulcan bits and then fly in paralyzers blazing into a group of enemies and dropping off as many pillbox/vulcans as I can right in a group of toyboxes or some other slow moving units and then get the fuck out of there ASAP

Why does every 15+ arena match come down to who has the most missile toyboxes? If you have enough, you can control half of the map easily, and anyone trying to flank usually gets focused down.

As for controls, there are guys playing this with analog gamepads, you know. I'm having problems on the keyboard side, the keys are jamming up when I try to jump/strafe/dash/ and switch weapons at the same time.

Started out with a Crimrose (hooray for being the cheapest of the starter robots to buy and also handed to you for free at rank 2) and always seem to hover around 10-30th place in those big 60 man battles. I dunno how the WIZ team always seems to get 80 points each game while the other two teams combined get about half that.

Against actual humans, I'm a little disappointed in the wide beam gun I've gotten. I feel like I'm just missing too much (probably because I'm zipping all over the place), and the attacks seem like they do pitiful damage. Is there a better choice of weapons out there (besides Paralyzer; haven't been able to get it in the lottery)?

I kinda want to bring my cost down a bit lower, but I'm not sure if the lost flight points are worth it.

Or Stardust Cannon. The bullet is massive (2 or 3 times the size of wide beam gun) and it deals good damage with high stun rate but a slow firing rate. I use it on my Aquila to great effect. Too bad it's a random drop though.

Hm. Maybe. I suppose it wouldn't hurt to experiment with some other weapon types.

I do kinda wonder if I'm just somehow making my accuracy worse by trying to manually correct with the reticle controls, or if it's just because I'm flying willy nilly and thus the lock-on has troubles.

That said, it's pretty amusing when I find one of those bigger robots alone. Some of those guys have the hardest time in the world hitting me, and I actually feel like I can rack up a bit of damage against them.

Okay, so I just got my first Lily Rain from the Garapon, and I find I have no idea what I should be equipping it with.

All I've been able to do with it so far is replace the basic Machinegun with a Mini Bazooka (Still has the default Melee equipped, not enough cost for a second), so far all I've been able to do is little bits of damage from relative safety.

Crimroses are dirt cheap, and I think the game is guaranteed to hand you one early on. Artillery girl is the most expensive of the lot to actually buy, and I haven't gotten any Artillery robots for free yet.

I cant play this anymore. The lag is unbearable, everyone teleports and then the game freezes up every 30 seconds, people either run in circles or straight line and I end up wasting ammo and boost or manage to lag in the worst spots ever.

Example, flying around to the back to pick off the ones running away, lag hits, was shooting the guy who had a sliver of life left, he doesn't die then 100s of robots around me.

When it's not lagging it's fucking easy for me to tell which land units bots when I use my curve gun or what ever it's called, the beam gun that homes in on units on land(yes I know you still have to lead it some).

It's funny because day one and two were the least laggiest days. Now it's just fucking dumb.

Lily is actually really good if you are using her to her strengths as an S ART. Not a powerhouse like L Units, but mobile, good built ins, and a small hitbox.

Crimrose is very good but you need a few upgrades to make her a bit more tough. Cheap though you need to rank up. Also no -50% explosive damage is terrible.

Jikun is probably the best starter overall because of its high uc value (28k) to get if you want it later. He is an awesome lnd unit.

Rifles are useless.
You can't aim your shots. Once you lock on, that's where you fire. The longer your range, the more you miss.
Anyone with a brain will move around once they get locked on to, and even with stealth they'll move after getting hit once.

The only good rifles are Musket and Easy Rifle.

Armor and Core Breakers suck. They have long range, but it's not long enough to engage enemy art'y that's just standing around.

I imagine that the sniper rifles only shine with a range upgrade.

You know even after you lock on you can move your crosshair? Two important things to remember, lead your targets and the range of your weapons is longer than the lock on range (this is very important for the railgun mech, allows you to make extremely long range shots).

there is more leeway than you think. there is lock on, but at the same time if you aim at the dead center of the lock on you will miss unless they are moving forward/back in a straight line. The lead is basically syncing to where their lock on really 'is' rather than on your screen.

air units hit ground units really hard. paralyzer hits Jikun for 25-35+ damage. considering the fire rate rate, height advantage, etc Air units counter Jikun well with either blasters or stun/beam guns.
The problem is that large mechs are weak against small melee, and when you have 5+ toybox sized mechs on your side they will block all the bullets aimed at a S LND unit attacking them.
air units are a bit weak overall (no -50% explosive + extra damage from explosive is killer) but if they abuse their advantages and air dash they can wreck most people, the
same as any other mech. Even though 90% of Toyboxes are terrible and get soloed by Crimroses, the ones that know how to play will blow them out of the sky.

I've been having more fun trying to highscore missions than going into pointless arenas where 70% of the enemy team humps their power points with artillery units.

It's actually pretty pathetic, the only interesting people I ever run into are people from WIZ who are running around tearing shit up 10 feet from the enemy powerpoint while the rest of their team sits back and jerks off while holding both mouse buttons down. At least there are SOME maps where you can't just sit on a power point for the whole game.
