Well... I guess it's true its also my preference, but to me tsunderes don't seem dominant.
Mostly to me its just that they're hiding their feelings. Tsunderes.. well, it depends on the tsundere character... but overall, even if they're aggressive, they tend to hold awkward feelings and become shy easily. The overall impression I get from them is that they're somewhat manipulatable and want to be patted on the head.

Hmm... Well, they can be dominant but it just doesn't really seem like dominance.

Actually, I don't see a tsundere as being either dominant or submissive, but rather somewhere in between tending towards submissive.
