Racism in japan is more of a subconcious thing, less of a "Kill all non-japanese" sentiment. I think it's due to isolation mostly, and the lack of many different races.

Most half White/Asians end up looking like Hispanics, so it depends on how much the latter genes show. I've been mistaken for an Indian (had a deep tan when I was little), a Spaniard (no fucking clue why they thought that) and a Mexican. A double eyelid also helps. I've got one, but it isn't particularly noticeable if my brows aren't completely relaxed.

Unfortunately, like others have said, none of that will matter when your Japanese is tinged with a foreign accent.

due to the fact the the Russian is so prominent I'll assume this is coastal northern Japan. They have a historical problem with Russian sailors/fisherman stopping in their ports and causing a general drunken ruckus. Yeah, as fallacious as that reputation may be.
