I use a Mac laptop and my brother has the 6 year old PC. My parents still haven't put Windows on our main computer yet. I have the games on my external and I could play them if my brother lets me finally use it.

Can't even play any because I only have a iBook that was given to me when my sister got a computer that wasn't made of schlongs so I did the only logical thing: Downloaded music that is considered "obscure" in my area and indie/doujin music so I can in hopes transform and blossom into a dirty entry-level hipster until I upgrade to Alienware where I can have my indie-cred and silly hats as an added bonus.

Download a crack of CrossOver, and you can play at least 5 Touhou games on Mac.
Add Touhou 1-4 to that if you download a PC-98 emulator and use CO to run it.
S'what I did on my Mac, so I can run Touhou 1-10 on my Mac side, and BootCamp it over to the computer's Windows partition to play 11-12.5.

Don't have any money. If I did, I'd just buy a new laptop on the cheap. I've seen one with a 250GB hard drive, wireless-capable, and 1 Gig of RAM (that can be upgraded) for like $300, which would just be like the shit I have with quadruple the data and actually able to do shit.

I wonder if my dad was serious about buying my laptop off me for $400. Still would need a new charge plug as mine needs to be elevated to even register a charge.

Really? 1-10? Fellow mac user here, Crossover crashes whenever I try to play anything that's not IN, PoFV, PCB or EoSD. I haven't tried playing 1-5 because I've been told it's impossible. I've played the ones I can play a whole lot, clearing them several times, so I'd love to be able to play MoF, SA and UFO as well.

Any tips?

StB and PoFV should still work. For the latter, you may have to try different downloads of it--some work, some don't, it seems. Same seems to be the case with MoF--some will crash right off the bat, some won't. The copy I have will open in full screen but not accept any input... but if I open it in windowed and use ctrl+scroll to zoom in, it works like a charm.
For Touhou 1-5, it's not impossible. You just need to download a PC-98 emulator that works with windows (preferably windows xp) and run it through CrossOver. So essentially, you'll have an emulator running an emulator running a game. I've experienced no slowdown with that, but it took a while to find the right downloads of the PC-98 games to find ones that work with the emulators... which would happen whether you're on Mac or Windows. Look for ones that are listed as Touhou04 - Lotus Land Story.rar.... like, Touhou0X - Name.
