Typemoon isn't advancing the main canon of Fate/stay night or Tsukihime. How come? They could easily put out a series where we see Emiya's change to Archer as a CG. We can easily make Sacchin's route, flesh out the mythos by making a story based on all the awesome plot points (multiverse, the five magic shit etc). Hell they can disregard the fate story and just make a story set in the past during the time of god etc etc. But they're not. Why?

Because Nasu has some degree of respect for his own creations and livelihood, such that he doesn't want to shit all over them by dragging the franchise out into eternity and it gets ridiculous?

>> No.5298127

because type-moon is shitty company, that doesn't know what the hell to do with their stuff

You mean like doing the story of Aoko?
Yes, I wonder why they don't do that.

Casue they have made lots of money.
Nasu just plays Demon Souls and other VNs and lets other idiots license and do adaptations while he gets more money.
TM only gets creative nowadays with April Fools.
Living the dream.

Nasu is living the ultimate dream.
1) Live the poverty-stricken NEET lifestyle for the first few years out of college
2) Dedicate every waking moment to taking that one story you wrote in your mind during your childhood and developing it into an epic
3) Create one of the most popular and well-loved visual novels of all time
4) Live like a fatcat off it for the rest of your life

Everyone on /jp/ is capable of this. It's what separates the NEET losers from the NEET gods, I guess.

Do you really have that much faith on /jp/'s tastes? I, for one, shudder every time an original project gets mentioned.
