What is up with the writing for Tsukihime? Is this really an accurate translation?

i liked the premise of F/SN better than tsukihime (heroes of old all summoned with super powers to fight in a deathmatch? Fuck yes!) but i liked tsukihime's plot better.

Nasu tried to write F/SN like tsukihime, which is like trying to write an action movie like a drama.
