I saw people complain about SnK's Kenichi being too perfect, even though that's what SHC Individuals are about and I saw people complain about C;H Takumi being pathetic, even though that's what shut-in unsociable otaku are about.

Both of them are good characters for what they're meant to be, and so is Rin, who is meant to be a prideful hard-working lady from an important family.

Perhaps that does make her a Mary Sue, but as far as I know,
