Hey /jp/ I liked Fate/Stay Night, will I like Tsukihime? I've been meaning to play it for awhile but I've always been put off by the shitty art.

Personally, I like Tsukihime's story better, but that's probably just because my wife Saber doesn't get the perfect end until Realta.

Not if you're one of the people who read F/SN for the fights and powerlevels and bitch about cooking scenes. Tsukihime has a lot less action. Otherwise there's a good chance you will. Personally I like it more than F/SN, though they're both great.

FSN is shit compared to Tsukihime.

Tsukihime is way overrated, but has a few good parts. If you like meidos, vampires and long outdrawn unrealistic sex scenes, you will probably like Tsukihime.

>> No.5279890

The endings are generally poor and most of the characters are underdeveloped or underutilized. A lot of the game strikes me as wasted potential; so much more could have been done with the plot that... wasn't. Also, both Tsukihime's villains and BGM are pure shit compared to F/SN. Like, the music is just BAD.

Still, you should try it for yourself and see.

faggots detected.

Tsukihime doesn't play near as well as Fate and has tons of stereotypical early VN shittiness. Go through Ciel route and Akiha route and you basically learn everything you would ever want to know, the others are more or less rehash.

Most Tsukihime fans are grimdark emo boys who are enamored of Shiki's "I can kill everything with eyehax am i cool yet" mode and the manchildren these same kids nostalga bomb themselves into later in life because it was their first VN.

KnK does dark mystery better, Fate does story and battles better.

Tsukihime's BGM was horrible and the main reason why I never finished it. I mean 1min loops of PLEASE STOP RAPING THAT POOR PIANO was just too much. Character art and backgrounds were shit too. The fight scenes were ridiculous and the writing style was... unique at times.

I don't know. It depends on what aspects of FSN interested you. I prefer Tsukihime's setting and exposition, but your mileage may vary.

As for poor artwork (and admittedly below average soundtrack), I'd compare it to SNES-level graphics--some people can't stand it anymore, but for me it's good enough so I don't mind.

Just start reading it and see if the story draws you in enough to continue, poor artwork notwithstanding.
