I'm not sure if this is the proper place to ask but I guess it is since /v/ probably doesn't care about Japanese released fighting games and it's not /a/ related enough.

Anyways...I've been a pretty big SF4 player for a while and I decided to pick up on Melty Blood and I was wondering if anyone here knows about the differences between the games. And yes, I already played Tsukihime a while back and loved it..anyways, which version do you start with? Do you start with the first version of Melty Blood and the Re Act expansion or can I go straight to Act Cadenza without losing any of the storyline? I'm currently getting my PS2 cracked so I can play Actress Again on it.

Well yeah, tl;dr..is there any difference in which Melty Blood version I download for PC storyline play? I want to see how they continue the storyline after Tsukihime and whatnot.

K, I have that and the first one downloading atm.

Also, how common is this thread here in /jp/? I rarely come here..I generally stick to /a/ and occasionally /v/...if this a shitty daily occurrence I'd like to apologize since I am google intolerant.

Anyways..since I'm in New Jersey and from all the fightan game forums I browse it seems that 90% of the good Melty Blood players and tournaments are right here in NJ so it's perfect for me.

Play the first game for the story if you want.
Play Act Cadenza online (with the mbcaster) or/and with friends.
Don't forget the translation patches from Mirror Moon.
