I've found the guide to calculus pretty useless. I was better off with The Complete Idiot's Guide to Calculus.

The guide to physics is good, though. The story is interesting and cute.

I found "Head's first: Statistics" to be quite good too. You definitely want to read one of the books to own your statistics exam.
