>> No.5164664

they're distracting as fuck. sort of like looking at shot scores in shoot the bullet then find yourself surrounded by bullets.

Fucking Typhoon always appears when my enemy uses Final Spark or some other 5 Orb spell cards

they are? they are sort of background for me. most of the time i don't know what weather is this unless it's an obvious one like calm or storm.

The only thing that pisses me off about Hisoutensoku's weather is how it handles weather system cards. I'm all for giving new and interesting systems for players to control and take advantage of, if they're so inclined, but the randomized draw order of the game completely fucks over any premise of player control that might have existed

It's not a particularly BIG problem, I guess, but goddamn is it annoying when I have 4 weather system cards in my deck and don't have any of them drawn when some "oh god I'm fucked" weathers start, like typhoon

What is OP?

>> No.5164713

Worst
typhoon - ruins the entire game, look out for Suika rocks
sun shower - free 3000 damage combos
river mist - your melee whiffs, be wake-up poked.
spring breeze - graaaaaaze
the others aren't that bad. (did I forget something)

>>5164688
If on the ground, you can graze through all of those without losing spirit. (unless you play Suwako)

the sudden ZUN~ tend to draw my attention from my opponent for a short bit, then i'd get hit square in the face :(

>> No.5164749

What I hate most is when weather changed to diamond dust when I am about to wak up (especially with Yukari) and instead of moving, I run into the enemy without blocking.

>> No.5164755

>>5164713

Not if the enemy activates the spellcard exactly when the wheather changes.

1.Enemy activates spellcard
2.I want to block the spell
3. 0,1 seconds later Typhoon
4.I'm death

snow- goddamit snow. better than what is was in 10.5 btw.

and that question mark on your spell cards.

i don't see the problem in spring breeze...

>> No.5164778

I can deal with everything except river mist, throws off my spacing completely, and my timing goes with it.

What's bad about mountain vapor?
You don't have to use spellcards, and if a player does, it ends immediately. You may even get better cards after the reshuffle.

Also, every weather mentioned above is twice as bad when it's called Aurora

Weather is not that hard to control in this game. I think people would rather take the easy route and just complain about it then actually, perhaps, learning to play with it.

Like making the opponent/yourself fall until the desired weather is on the screen, the run away for half a minute until it appears?

"Not that hard?" Your ability to control the weather is directly linked to a randomized draw system. Unless you fancy stalling the fight for a minute or so by running around until the weather you want goes into effect, it would be better if you could design draw orders for your decks. I am firmly of the belief that people who want to abuse the weather for their own benefit should be allowed to do so, because otherwise, what's the point of a system card that controls the weather?

Whatever works for you. Unless you hate every single weather in Hiso, the chance of seeing those couple of weathers you "hate" is something like 1/20. Unless someone is forcing it intentionally, which hardly anyone does anyways. In fact, unless your opponent is playing the weather, avoiding the ones you don't like is pretty easy.
