I did this, it's a good job for somebody who does not want to work. I was placed at some factory at the night shift and all I had to do was ride a bike around every once in a while (the place was huge) and make sure certain doors were locked. The rest of the time I sat around on my laptop and did fuck all. I'm an extremely socially inept individual and so this was easy work.

This is true. The military is usually a mix of extroverted nerds not good at much else (not saying you) and macho rednecks who just wanna shoot guns.
