Sekien no Inganock is a visual novel about a cold and indifferent looking doctor who never smiles. He usually keeps to himself and goes about his job of healing people using a special ability tied to his eyes inside a closed off city. One day he meets a young girl who begins to live with him. She cooks for him and helps him with his job, and he slowly begins to open himself up to her. However, the girl is carrying a terrible secret and hidden past that might prevent them from staying together. Art has a rough but textured look and music is soft and simple piano arrangements.

Unless there's NTR, I don't care.

True Remembrance: Godly atmosphere and lovable characters

SnI: Furry shit

>> No.5095427

Heh. If this isn't copypasta, then I commend the effort.

>> No.5095454

The difference being that Inganock is about 20 times better than True Remembrance.

Does Senkien no Iganock really have furry shit in it, or are people just trollan? Definition of furry being covered in fur, not just having a tail and some ears.

meme started by butthurt Baldr Sky fans when Inganock beat it in a translation poll.

Fur, more like scales, cat traits...but people are trollan.

There are some furries in it but the main characters (and the ones in ero scenes) never go past ears+tail+paws.

Yeah, should have included the dystopian atmosphere and lack of voice acting in both.

Also the art and music in the two aren't similar at all.

A high school student--hmm, what was his name?--acquires a special power and immediately decides to use it to reshape the world to be a better place. However, he has to keep this power secret from those at school and around him and pretend to lead an ordinary teenage life. He also goes to great lengths to try to learn the exact rules and limitations that govern the power by testing it on various people in creative ways. With the power comes a bizarre "friend" who follows him around and has a penchant for a particular type of food.

In the meantime, he has to deal with another person who has acquired a similar power. Additionally, he has many enemies who are on his case from nearly the beginning, trying to track him down despite not knowing what his power is or how it works. Over time, he becomes a wildly popular, albeit controversial figure, despite nobody knowing his real identity. Soon, the protagonist's primary rival emerges--who, despite not knowing his real identity, meets with him many times in an everyday setting.

I enjoyed SnI more because of its emphasis on the setting and how characters were important to unraveling the workings of the world. TR was great character-driven drama, but too many of the translated VNs are just that. I'd probably have to say TR is objectively better literature, but Inganock was more enjoyable due to its approach to storytelling.

It's whatever you classify this as. Wouldn't reaaly call it furry myself as she doesn't have an animal face/snout, which is what I find particularly unattractive, but it's not exactly "safe" either.

That's like the textbook definition of a standard catgirl, right?

The furry stuff is like 99.99% meme from everything I've seen.

Aoi Shiro features:
- A primordial entity slumbering in a sunken city, so dreadful that beholding it causes insanity, worshipped as a deity and appeased with human sacrifice.
- Small, amphibious creatures resembling a terrible cross between fish, frog and man, their master a lesser deity of his own, larger than the rest of his kin and hellbent on releasing the aforementioned sealed monster.
- An object of vast power emanating an aura of dread that can mentally influence anyone who looks or holds it, even merging with him to a degree.
- A relative of the protagonist dying as a direct result of messing with the ceremonies of the natives.
- Advancing on despite the warning by another dead relative not to do it
- Protagonist being revealed to be innately connected to the dreadful events around her.
- Tomes full of indecipherable writing revealing the dark history of native practices.
- Mythological references around every corner.

Cross Channel is a visual novel set in a time loop that only the protagonist has the power to change the destiny of. In the time loop with him are a number of characters, including women, who have their attitudes towards him shaped over this brief interval. After helping each of the girls 'escape', the protagonist remains within the loop, where things continue as before without change for eternity.

>>5100522
Well Cross Channel is older than Mugen Kairou so it doesn't really work with there.
