Okay, so basically this is how it goes.

Natsuhi and Krauss can't have kids because the former isn't able to get pregnant.

To remedy this problem, Krauss sets up his MOON TOURISM business. He has a couple tour the moon and produce a baby. The baby born on the moon turns out to be Jessica and he takes the baby from the couple.

And that's why Jessica is Moon-chan and Shannon and Kanon are the same person.
