Only RTS I need is starcraft 2. The coreans gave it an adult only rating because the corrupt business that runs the star raft 1 pro scene thinks that SC2 will be bad for business.
So now they can all play SC1 while normal people can play SC2. Everyone wins.

RA2 had a big involvement from the people from EALA, and Generals was awesome (if you were a multiplayer fan that is).

What they failed was the revival of the series, C&C3 was ok at most, RA3 was much cornier than it's predecessor (both in acting and atmosphere) and the gameplay was pretty shallow. I don't think I need to any comments on C&C4.

What makes me sad is that if you followed the C&C community this past couple of years, you'd have seen that EA always had always a community manager around, they decently supported the games and even had a "internet tv show" for C&C that ran for 2 fucking years.

The effort was there! Too bad they lacked talent.

Only 1 out of 20 games I would call good. Luckily I have one guy to mess with once in a while and we practice builds with each other. Right now my terran vs protoss is horrible, so we spent a few hours with just me trying different openings and it helped a ton. I wouldn't be able to do that in normal games and would still be horrible.

Also I sucked shit at starcraft 1 but am somehow decently good at SC2. Most of the people in beta are first time players it seems.
