I ate mapo tofu last month.
Despite the "ULTRA HOT" featured on the packaging, I found it to be rather bland.

>> No.5026079

What a shame, maybe next time.

>> No.5026083

Japanese food does not make you otaku, you're eating Japanese food. I'm not an italia-boo just because I eat a bunch of shit with tomatoes and pasta.

Typical /jp/ response, complete failure of reading comprehension

>> No.5026123

The OP pic looks like the kind of abomination I would make if I tried to make some kind of asian cuisine. If mapo tofu actually looks like that, I love it just because it must be hard to screw up.

>> No.5026130

Melon-pan.

Now that you mention it, Op's post is kind of hard to understand, he tried to invent a word or something.

Pasta,
boil some frozen vegetables. Kinda like pic.

It's not even soup, just boiled water, but it's cheap and relatively few steps to make. And taste okay.

It is....

It's pretty easy to make if you've cooked anything Chinese before. The most difficult thing I find is getting the right ingredients. Your experience may vary on that.
