But surely ANYONE who has taken even a vague vague vague glance at Arthurian legend would know that Arthur King of the Britons wielder of Excalibur was a dude.

A man.

A male.

A thing without breasts.

A creature possessing a penis.

In the context of the story, the legend's been modified over the years.

"Arthur" was always a girl. She was remembered as a male, because the citizens would not be unified under a female leader. They needed a King.

In the original draft Nasu wrote, the character was male and the hero was female, so yeah.

The sword spray isn't really a weapon in itself (the "Gate of Babylon" is a small sword-shaped key), it's just a gate to his treasure vault, which holds every notable weapon ever made during his time since at one point he was the owner of everything on Earth.
