Actually it was pretty hard, just so different than anything I've done before. You have to listen to each certain phrases and pick which one is correct based on random rules they give you beforehand for a made-up language.

The rules will be things like "adjectives have to end with the same vowel as the noun they are describing", and adjectives have to go after the noun or random shit like that. Gets harder as more rules are put in place and the phrases get longer.

Basically the only real hard part is that you can only listen one time, so if you don't catch it the first time you have to guess. I think I scored a 142 which qualifies me for any language but I felt like I did badly, so I guess the scoring is lenient.

All of my friends have significant power levels. We all hang out at my comic shop, play tcgs, and listen to Hello Project stuff, faggy Touhou music and VK all day long. You know I really wish I was shitting you. But this guy down the hall in my soon to be former dorm hall who never leaves his room except for class or food, walked into the lounge one day while I was using the brand new TV to prepare to play an import copy of BlazBlue. I told him it was an import fightan game and at the last second I changed my mind and decided to play some Valkyria Chronicles (Which everyone who looks at it seems to think its just a stylized WWII and I encourage that line of thinking anyhow). And right as I hit X I hear "So, do you play Visual Novels then?" And I froze in shock, right there and just slowly turned with my best poker face and flatly denied it like an alien concept while getting the hell out of VC and into BF1942, checking my laptop I'd brought along to see if it was running Clannad in the background or something, which thankfully it wasn't. So damn glad I changed that background to a UN-wallpaper from the Nazrin one I had up the hour before or I'd have been sunk in my ability to LIE my way out. He just bought it or didn't pursue it though. I'm not sure, but I've also heard familiar melodies from VN and eroge tracks echoing from his room into the hall since he blasts them. Plus he seems to do nothing but stay shut in and taptaptap away at the keyboard so I have this vague feeling he's an ill disguised /jp/ user. Thats really the annoying thing, the touhou and VN music all day all night, not that one encounter.

And ya, that's my only experience with IRL potential /jp/ users and their habits. Using sage because boring story that feels like a dull journal entry.
