y'know, if you take it literally, then there are really 2 rokkenjimas - Rokkenjima proper and kuwandorian.
Beatrice rules kuwandorian of the dark (that nobody sees), while kinzo rules rokkenjima proper.

Then there's the bit where one of the characters mentioned the story being like "two sides of the same coin". Both fantasy and mystery events really happened, but for the sake of the ending where everyone comes back alive, they could only fight against the mystery side

I had thought that phrase was just a build up for battler's blue truth in EP4. Shit was pretty cool when you realized the other meaning in EP5

That spectacular battle in EP4 took place in a rose garden. The narration then went on about how roses symbolized passion while the forget-me-not symbolized truth.

Then you learned in EP5 that in order for the mystery to be solved, there needs to be love or trust between two parties. The reader has to trust that the mystery is solvable so that he will try to solve it instead of waiting for the answer. The writer has to trust that the reader will attempt to solve it or she won't write.

So all this boils down to a simple phrase, "Without love, the truth cannot be seen" which was mentioned in episode 4 and 5.

So the fact that Beatrice and Battler were able to have that battle in EP4 means that they both "loved" each other.
And having that battle take place in a garden filled with roses was pretty romantic

Are you suggesting that implied sex took place during that scene? You know, with all the penetration and sobbing going on
