Hello my dear glorious Nihon-Race,

I have to write a paper for my english business class about japan. Since there are people here living in japan and know more about it than me, I thought I could ask here.

I'd like to make my audience solve 10 questions about and regarding Japan. Since the paper itself should only take 10 minutes to read, the questions should be kept simple, such as:

Where is japan located?
What political system does japan have?
What language is used for business communication?
Table manners, etc

I can't seem to think of many questions, so I was wondering if /jp/ could give me a little hand here in making a quiz that contains 10 questions.

I also would want some nice pictures that I could show them to, of japan.

My Homework consists of actually writing a paper, not making questions. I know jack shit about Japan, Wikipedia doesn't tell me what kind of rules the social community in japan has and I would merely want to know a bit. It doesn't take much time if you just give me a bit of information here.

If this is supposed to be a 10 minute read, and is designed for people not well acquainted with Japanese culture, you're going to need to cover just the really basic basics, and your questions should reflect that. All of this is information a quick encyclopedia or Wikipedia read should cover just fine.

Now for the part where I show some token helpfulness - a question about the rapidly declining birthrate could be a good one for a business oriented paper, as it's constantly in the news and has important political / economic ramifications.
