Is there a patch to make UFO not complete shit?

Otherwise i'll shift delete and pretend there's only 11 Touhou games.

The real problem with UFO is the way the UFO timers are fucking lies. They reach the top of the screen and become invincible when the game says you still have like a second left to kill them.
The losing 100 power when you die is unnecessarily harsh, too.
And the way the game can be incredibly hard if you miss UFOs, but incredibly easy if you keep getting them, clearing the screen with their explosions, and grabbing more UFOs during that time is pretty shit.

Now that I think about it, UFO does have a fair number of problems, actually.
