Best be now trolling. I'm not speaking about the gameplay but the overall experience. The 2nd game was filled with average bosses that lacked the awesome of the first, also while the story was good it lacked in conclusion to the first. The third game had really bad camera mechanics, the game was close to being unplayable and I would not have finished the game if it wasn't a MGS.
The expansion was better but still not as awesome and genre defining as the first MGS.

Well, that is true.
But the game mechanics are much worse compared to the ps2 and ps3 sequels.
They're all good games.

Well that could be so but the first MGS was all about the story and the bosses. I'm a day one MGS faggot but I still haven't played the forth .... I have first to clear the trilogy again, so much time passed and I need to refresh my memory
