Sup /jp/

I saw the opera Carmen last week, it was pretty good. However the thing that really stuck with me throughout watching it was that Carmen herself was almost everything we hate in 3dwomen and was, pig disgusting.

I just thought was was something interesting to share.

Pretty much all comical operas have some really manipulative bitch in the cast. Those librettists really had some strange interests.

This was the worst system ever. I'm glad it finally got ditched.

/jp/ at the opera? Why suddenly so highbrow? But ok, French and Italian operas...

Anyway, I might go and see Carmen in may, but probably not because I already know it will be totally overrun and I don't fancy waiting for hours and hours for something that is not Wagner

It was good for stuff like this, though.

(Ignore the edit, the image came like that and I missed the original thread.)

I know, that's why I tried to hide it. Whatever, I'm still gonna take every opportunity to see them. Also they get pretty good as soon as you imagine the roles as being played by a /jp/ or /a/ related cast.

At the end of Parsifal when he heals Amfortas: hearing Wagners music in the opera house, seeing a decent production and then imagining the scene as Konata (Parsifal) tenderly loving (=opening the grail) Kagami (Amfortas). Not really the religion Wagner intended, but it's truly godlike.

Something else: A while ago I saw Manon Lescaut and the production had a lot of maids running around. Then suddenly all the maids were raped! That was the moment when i thought that /jp/ would definitely enjoy it.
