Wacom Bamboo is like PS1, while Intuos PS2. Both of them are suited for creative drawing/illustrations with good performance and pressure sensitivity.

Be careful, some tablets are made for office purpose and hence not really good for drawings. Wacom is at least the most reliable brand for years.

That tool never worked for me due to my pressure sensitivity settings--even when I applied as much pressure as possible, the lines barely showed up. It's not worth fixing when I could drop in Paintchat for drawing jaggy non-AA lines.

I was looking around this new thing called the internet and found a board that seemed to be inhabited by people who also live Gensokyo. It looked pretty nice and then I found this thread so I thought, "Why not put some of my cute shikigami's drawings here as well!?"

So behold people of Gensokyo! This marvelous master piece that I framed on my refrigerator! I don't know what that thing behind her is though. I think it's one of those pokemans that kids seem to rave about. Once I really look at it...it looks...kinda disgusting. Never the less, it's still my favorite.

Truthfully, there really isn't any good guitar synths out that I've come across. Might be a few good sampled ones, but none that I've found which are very versatile. There was a really nice bass series (Scarbee) released by NI a few months ago though.

You can actually do some somewhat advanced stuff with paint. The eraser tool can be used to replace a single specific color with another, essentially allowing you to color without damaging your wonderfully pixelated lineart.

I suppose there's the expectation that the OP looks after his own thread. "Lantern dude" is (or at least was) a busy guy, and I think he's been taking it easy ever since the Dandelion Girl Kinetic Novel was finished.

I miss the days when formerly-anon and I made around 80% of the drawings in the drawthreads. Without him around, I don't want to flood these threads with Paintchat sketches anymore.
