Sniper? Are we talking about the FFT remake, or the original for the PS1? Because the only class I can remember from original FFT that would be a "sniper" would be a.. Chemist, I guess, since they were the ones who could use guns. Maybe one or two other classes, too, but there was no class I can recall named "Sniper"
