Saber was likable overall, but she had a long-ass emotionless streak in the beginning and I still have no idea why she has an invisible sword. Must have skipped that part of the Arthurian legend. She still has the best sex scene in the whole series.

Fate needed a stronger ending, and not to sound like a hater, but Rin really needed to die in the end. It's just silly how she was splattered all over the room and then she's fine in the end texts. Also, her assdagger did nothing that a regular dagger wouldn't have done in that situation so I wonder why they made such a big deal out of it.

Overall, could have used some minor rewriting and streamlining, but overall the best heroine and route in FSN are just fine.

They are all mid tier at best, FSN has a pretty weak female cast compared to most VNs.

For me Rin was the best heroine(well, her and Ilya ;_;), but all routes were mediocre. I think I enjoyed Fate the most, but that's not saying much.

For me, Rin was my favourite of the heroines too. And UBW as a route wasn't too good, but I prefered it's climax to HF's (that said MALY FISTFIGHT was still pretty awesome).

Well, Rin is my favorite of the three Heroines and UBW my favorite of the three routes actually. Even though the romance with Rin was rather slow, it did develop like a teenage romance, that and the fact that Shirou would LET Rin go kick ass instead of I WILL PROTECT JOU like he was at Saber.

I liked the Archer/Shirou dichotomy alot as well. Plus this route turned a LOT on its head. Saber was taken and used against them by Caster. Archer Xanatos Gambited himself so he could get around Rin's commands to fight himself.

Then you have one option left, and you go to ask Ilya for help, in comes Gilgamesh. In a moment of sheer HOLY SHIT he rips her heart out and easily dispatches of Berserker, something that wasn't easy at ALL in Fate, and laughs at you. When all is lost, guess who comes in and saves the day?

Mother fucking Lancer, like a Big Damned Hero.

True, UBW needed some more Kotomine, but it was good to see Gilgamesh as an unstoppable Juggernaut in this route as well. That, and Lancer was awesome. Also, Archer's Big Damned Heroes moment where he saved everyone at the end was pretty epic too.

Rin's not much of a heroine though, she just yells at Shirou and tells him how to behave like in every other route.I mean, I like her, but her role was pretty ordinary in her own route, so she was more of an actual heroine in HF

Fate route and ending were both pretty epic to me
UBW didn't get to me much. except for the Ilya part

HF got to make me make a lot of choices I'd never do just for the sake of not getting a bad end
Like, you just got out of the GAR hold-on-to-your-ideals route, and then you're asked to give them up for the maid
But both endings were TEH awesome for me
