Hey guys, is this a false positive?
Sunflower devs wouldn't put them in right?

Running pirated eroge outside of a virtual machine or isolated box has to be the dumbest thing you could do.

why do you not google generic17.avui and find out

Just submitted the file to virus total.
Kaspersky, McAfee, Microsoft and Symantec all turn up clean so it should be safe.

You should do something about that paranoia of yours, it's not healthy.

Just to be safe, I decided to download the ISO and not use the standalone version.

That executable file seems like it is a no DVD exe patch and the file size disrepancy with the standalone version is very suspicious.

There's a reason it's a standalone

It's not paranoia when lots of shit is not clean. I guess enjoy your membership in a Chinese botnet though, while I enjoy a clean computer with virtually no extra effort.

You're trying to install and play a hacked game.

Perhaps that .exe executes a command to bypass some kind of security console on the game file and your shit tier Antivirus detects it as a trojan because it's modifying the game to run in?

Avast! antivirus, antivirus of the year all years

>> No.4855217

>>4855208
I'm not the guy with a fucking antivirus, that has nothing to do with a virtual machine. I don't care if his shit is infected or not, but if you seriously think that lots of shit on Share isn't infected then you're a fucking moron. It takes like five minutes to set up a virtual machine, there's no reason not to.

>> No.4855222

>>4855217
Not much stuff is infected on share nowadays and you really just need to avoid exe files.

Wait, how did you get that warning from a piece of commercial software?

Oh wait, never mind... You're a huge fucking faggot.

>> No.4855306

Wow, are there really so many people these days who just go "It's commercial, of course it's not infected, that'd be stupid"?

No wonder there are so many botnets operating these days.

>> No.4855327

>>4855306

Well duuh... It's only commercial if you have the original. Downloading software from the internet has its obvious risks. Anyone sane person who downloads games or software already knows that.

>> No.4855776

Wow, guess there really are paranoid idiots out there that think everything on the internets is a virus. Unless, of course, we all just got trolled.

I installed the game from the ISO and applied the patch.
God knows what "modifications" they did to the executable file.
Wouldn't be surprised that maybe you all got trolled by Sunflower devs and are now part of moogy botnet.

>> No.4858017

I got the same trojan detection with AVG on a different game earlier today. I did so much stuff at once that I'm not sure what fixed it.

MD5 MOTHERFUCKERS, VERIFY THAT SHIT.

IF IT HAS NO MD5, LOOK FOR ONE, FAILING THAT, DON'T BOTHER

Why do you think there are so many botnets out there, with literally millions of systems at times? It's because all the retards who actually believe most of the "false positive" results leave their confidence at that.

>> No.4858064

This is a hilarious thread. AntiViruses are stupid and will mark a lot of things as suspicious. The only way to know if something is bad or not is to actually look inside the application. Or if you can't do that, sandbox or use a VM for everything.

Of course, translators have nothing better to do than trojan everyone's computers.
