I've been lurking /jp/ for a few months for the lulz, but recently I actually tried playing a VN (Wind), and found it enjoyable. Now I have a bunch of VNs waiting, and I was wondering if you guys use walkthroughs when playing a VN?

Also, is there a website that teaches me how the fuck to play this Rance game you guys keep talking about?

Thanks.

Well sometimes I do, but usually I just play the game first following my own judgement.

>walkthroughs
When I want to complete the game 100% I do, but the first play is always walkthrough less.

Rance is just an SRPG with Erogame elements.

No, i figure things out myself even if it takes me weeks.

If you have been lurking here for a few months then you should have noticed the 3 or 4 daily Rance Threads that discuss the gameplay and how to beat it, giving tips and instuction in detail.
If you haven't figured it out yet, then you probably will never.

Wow.
Since when does /jp/ welcome f/a/ggots?

Just look at the Threads. We are already in the minority.

With walkthrough, I like linearity in my playthroughs, so I don't have to worry about it

We answered his question, so hopefully, he'll just shut up.

This. It's really quite sad.

Never saw why anyone would need a walkthrough. I guess because they want to get a certain character right away, but the choices are usually pretty obvious.
For me, I just pick whatever I want as I go through, write down which choice I picked, and when I play the next time, look at my textfile and pick a different choice. That simple.

That's exactly why I posted the wiki link. Sometimes our good deeds are misunderstood.

Let's not go into that matter again for today. Go start a good thread or, even better, bump an old one.
